Other United States Postal Service Employee Reviews
Job Work/Life Balance
fast paced, high expectations, and physically demanding.
Sales Associate/Shipping and Receiving (Former Employee) – San Diego, CA – August 17, 2018
typical day is making sure all letters and packages are distributed to their carriers to try to get them out to the streets on time. The hardest part of the job is trying to get everything out of the building in a short period of time. There are many strong personalities that you will be workining along side with. This job is not for everyone and you must have tough skin to get through the day. While working at the USPS i learned to use my time wisely .The most enjoyable part of working there was meeting the customers and getting to know them as a sales associate window clerk.
Great place to work if you plan to not have a life
Rural Letter Carrier (Current Employee) – Jacksonville, FL – August 16, 2018
The post office is constantly understaffed. It is not a very family friendly place to work unless you are a regular employee. As a RCA takes 7+ years to become regular status where you finally begin to get benefits.
