Cashier and Merchandiser (Former Employee) –  Chantilly, VAApril 20, 2016
Spent two years here and have mixed feeling. My main boss was a total troll and a drag when she was around. the upside was there were a lot of fun people to work with and you learn a lot about beer and wine. The pay is low though, it is retail after all.
Pros
The camaraderie
Cons
Pay

Fun company to work at for the most part. Monthly team engagements helped unite us as a team. They offer classes for certifications in Wine, Beer and Spirits.
Pros
Fun, supportive team
Cons
Work-life balance almost non-existent

Very structured and controlling atmosphere. Lots of opportunity to learn and tasted many different wines and spirits styles.Very large selection, however only the Winery Direct (house brands) are what company is interested in selling.
Pros
