Quite fun
Cabin Crew (Former Employee) –  Changi AirportMay 8, 2019
Its always fun to become an air stewardess, but first you need to adapt the culture, second is learn to respect everyone. Including passenger.

The environment is not bad, get to travel around the world.
Its a good opportunity to be an air stewardess when you are young.

Work Hard, Play Hard!

This job has allow me to learn how to work with people from different cultures and backgrounds. The most enjoyable part of the job is to be able to meet different people from all walks of life, countries and cultures. FLIGHT OPERATIONS (Former Employee) –  SingaporeJanuary 13, 2019
As in operations, there was never a dull moment tackling day to day issues with crewmembers and managing on-time performance of every flight.
Working with the flying crew team is always enjoyable especially building rapport and getting to know them better.
Hardest part is to let go of staff who has issues.
Pros
Flexibility in timing and no rules on office attire
Cons
working in silos

Generally good work life balance. Slightly hierarchical culture within the company but there is a fair share of work and day offs. Could do better in retention of staff.

Cabin Crew (Former Employee) –  SingaporeAugust 22, 2018
I had learned to be more detail oriented and client focused.

The hardest part of the job was coordination between clients. The most enjoyable part of the job is the insights gained from interacting with the clients from different industries.

Fair place to earn a living
Complex Leader on B777 and B787 (Current Employee) –  Changi AirportNovember 12, 2017
It's a fair place to work. However, the hours can get very high and we can do back to back flights which can caused fatigue and restless. Despite the hours are high, most of use get under paid too. Especially if you get alot of turnaround flights and stay far aeay from Changi airport, you will end up wasting money on taxi fares.
The cultural is not too bad. We have alot of nicely crew and the flight can be quite fun to do too.
Pros
Have the oppurtunity to go places and meet people
Cons
back to back flights which can caused fatigue

Flight attendant (Former Employee) –  Changi AirportMarch 30, 2017
It was a good and easy breezy every day work. Colleagues were fun and amazing and meeting new people every day was a bonus.
Learned a lot of different culture as well as working under extreme pressures and respond onto emergency situations calmly. Though there is no career advancement, it is definitely a worthwhile experience.
