Very unhealthy and unsupportive management toward staff
Staff Nurse (Current Employee) –  Operating theatreMarch 29, 2019
1 negative feedback will be go along with a staff until he or she resign on the other 100 of hard word and positive points are being ignored. Management is not appropriate and not approachable. HR management is unsafe as they can easily lost staff important documents and just ignored till you find out and ask you to resubmit.

Straightforward but very demanding
Muslim Chef (Former Employee) –  SingaporeJanuary 17, 2019
The number of staff is very minimal, most of the times we are shortage of staff due to off days, annual leaves or on medical leaves. Customers are high profile people therefore they are very demanding. Quality of product use at its highest quality.

I have learned to be more health conscious with the food that is prepared. The amount of nutrient are considered also different dietary for different customers.

The management was not the best, lack of experience and proper purchasing system. Also lack of training or skill enhancement program. F&B is a supplement to the major service which is medical.

Teamwork is lacking, most chef are doing what they are assigned to do. You seldom get any help from others when you are short handed. The layout or set up of the kitchen with too many obstruction makes the workflow inefficient and there were too many workplace accidents which results to hospitalization and long medical leaves.

The most enjoying part for me was having to attend customer personal dietary needs. We often call up to their suites to discuss or consult the specific diet for them. Some of them are VIPs and royal family from various countries.
Pros
Easy to manage provided there is sufficient number of staff
Cons
Kitchen set up and layout is hazardous. Lack of planning on workflow and safety

Lack of Directions, Work in Healthcare but lack of human touch
HR Business Partner (Former Employee) –  OrchardJuly 24, 2018
Disappointing environment. Nurses are mostly overwork, unhealthy and not happy. Housekeeping and F&B too. Low salary but high job expectation. Processes are manual and always look for quick fix. Management has no respect to senior serving staff; all the way out to embarrassed them at work hoping they will quit. Finger pointing and flirt flop on conversation for self-defence / protection is expected when unfavourable situation happened. HR can close both eyes and let HOD verbally humiliated their staff and still support HOD to issue warning letter.
Pros
good learning grounds
Cons
lack of career progresssion.

Charge Registered Nurse (Former Employee) –  SingaporeDecember 28, 2017
My first time to work for a private hospital. Many of the patients were foreigners. My skills had been appreciated to the point that my management wanted to send me for further studies in UK to be in charge of the anaesthesia dept. I had learned a lot from this company if not for migrating to Canada, I wouldn't have left.

Registered Nurse (RN) (Former Employee) –  SINGAPORESeptember 27, 2017
There 3 shifts in a day 8hrly rotating. More than 5 years working experience as a registered nurse cooperating with physicians and close contacting with patients. Good management. My workplace was international and intercultural. The hardest part of the job was the long commuting that I had to face everyday. Well, the most enjoyable part of the job was to see my patients fully recovered and to leave the hospital.

Senior Security Officer (Former Employee) –  OrchardJuly 11, 2017
As security personnel your working hours is 12 hours shift work. No Life. Especially for a family staffs. Salary is so so. The line was drawn to separate the men on the ground and the executives. Every department having their own way. Every year the Dinner and Dance the Security Personnel was forgotten no doubt we are holding the FORT. But the health was taken care and in a good hand.
Pros
Health are taken care
