Disfunctional upper management
Project Manager (Former Employee) – Tacoma, WA – March 9, 2018
Very long workdays. although this is a healthcare company, their own employees health suffers due to high stress levels and no time for one's own physical well being.
Upper management has often unrealistic expectations and are not open to employee feedback that contradicts their mission. Understaffed departments are expected to work harder, even if it is known that they have open FTEs, not wanting to accept that people can only do so much.
Great benefits but at a high price of lack of personal satisfaction and well being. Granted, there are well working departments, but again, if understaffed there is no understanding that some work may have to be outsourced .
