Busy working most of the time, not much free or slack time during office hours. Great exposure and good management within the company. Long working hours and can get quite stressful in order to meet tight deadlines.

Being the company where I had my first job out of university, I was looking to build and expand on what I had learned at university. My co-workers were extremely helpful in teaching me and giving me opportunities to learn.

JP Morgan has a friendly environment where everyone is easy to talk to. Your superiors are more like buddies and friends than bosses. Front office staff have reasonable respect towards back office staff, which can be hardly seen in some other banks.

- typical Working day - support people and guide them to do what is right - Encourage you to do better, supportive of your idea - Friendly co-workers - Dependencies on other teams and incompetent HR Team - Always Encouraging to do better
Typical day at work is like any other banking firm, daily grind is a normal scene. The big difference is that our job entails us to work beyond office hours and we are expected to provide support 24/7.
I learned that one must be at the right place and at the right time no matter what. Always expect change and be ready for it. :)
Colleagues are great and they make good team work.
Most challenging part of the job would be to always deal with ever changing policies and non-stop changes but we are glad we are always able to keep up.
Best part is there is always room to grow and opportunities to embrace. At the end of the day, it is still about loving the job you do and be able to provide for your family and live a good life.
Good Healthcare Benefits, Good Retirement Plan Benefit, great opportunities
