visit consultants to promote product. educate them on the correct design process. update them on the latest codes and regulations. handles technical design issues. have to meet targets set by managers every mth; no. of visits; seminars; sales. althou no one cares what you do on a daily basis, you have to meet targets every month which i felt as an engineer is really not necessary, engineers are engineers, why would you want to put sales in an engineering job, do not feel that my work is appreciated by the sales team as they often push problems to us, lots of slient politics

basic pay is low, need to hit targets every month as you are taken to be a 'sales' engineer, need to push product to client which some may not like it, sales team do not communicate well with engineers. lots of plotting and backstabbing people.
