Work life balance is equal. It was quite a fruitful experience to be part of Grab Family. Made close ties with colleagues. Quite relaxed and smooth sail to be here.

being a grab driver is ok as there is no politics. But is rather stressful as it is quite competitive due to too many driver and collaborating with taxi

Lead Product Marketing Manager (Current Employee) –  SingaporeNovember 27, 2019
It's a startup culture, in a hyper growth phase all year around. You get great opportunities to learn and collaborate. However, the performance measurement process is not very apt and high variance in the pay scale among peers, even on same level.

Part time rider
Grabfood Rider (Current Employee) –  SingaporeNovember 6, 2019
stress free and very flexible timing. Do your own time day or night. Make lots of friends and learn more from mistake. I use to ride escooter and now since the new law kick in regarding no riding on the pavement been very hard to find income this days. Have to change to walker. And being a walker lesser order and sometimes have to cancel order cause quite far.

worth it

Does not pay to be a Grab or Grab Hitch driver
driver (Current Employee) –  SingaporeOctober 26, 2019
With one week as a Grab Hitch driver,
one conclusion to those who like to be a Grab driver, It does not pay for being a grab driver.

Pro: Work Life balance is good

Con: Riders can be quite unreasonable and inconsiderate; Not all but some Riders do not honour the time and did not turn up and yet Grab does not compensate driver for long waits and parking charges and fuel charges for waiting.

Very low rates especially Grab Hitch drivers; Does not even pay for the fuel and parking and ERP charges.

Many riders commented they could hardly get Grab Hitch drivers. The root cost is because it does not pay to be a Grab Hitch driver or even a Grab driver; even the riders commented themselves that they were surprised I took up their request for Grab Hitch and even the riders know that it does not pay to be a Grab Hitch driver.

Poor Grab interface for drivers and poor support for drivers. No Whatsapp or online chat with support. No Whatsapp or online chat between drivers and riders; costing telco charges to both drivers and riders.
Pros
Work Life Balance and time flexibility
Cons
Too many to count; Does not pay to be a Grab hitch or Grab driver

Full-time Grab Driver (Current Employee) –  Sin MingOctober 14, 2019
Flexible timing. Own time own target. Good incentive packages and system improved. Need to work on the support hotline as customer service officers are rather rude.

Operations and Strategy Intern (Former Employee) –  SingaporeJuly 26, 2019
Worked in the sales team during part-time and intern days:
- Manager is a great supervisor and watches out for all his staff, apart from being result-oriented

- No micro-management as he gives us the autonomy to work at our own pace as long as we deliver work & results withing the stipulated workframe

- Generally helpful work environment. Would love to work for the company again given an opportunity in the future

grab life; no life
Chauffeur (Current Employee) –  SingaporeJune 12, 2019
It is a long working hour to achieve higher salary and grab will not provide CPF to driver. Also it is less incentive even plus it is a high risk for health after long hour driving.

No matter what you do, try your best to represent the company with a smile. People always have bad days going on so sometimes you cannot blame them. Long drive but the money is worth it.

Grab is a transportation service start up. Grab has a fast-paced and young environment, where all the works have to be done in time. Even though it is a tech company, people working there are very creative.
