Customer Service Officer (Former Employee) – Sin Ming – May 18, 2018
Their office was really friendly looking and does not have that mundane look. The management were engaging. The culture was slightly messy I would say and the most enjoyable part of it all were my colleagues.
Senior Customer Service Officer (Former Employee) – Singapore – November 24, 2017
Typical day is meeting KPI of 112 emails in a day, shifting may depend on roster issued on a monthly basis. I have learned a lot from the daily tasks of answering passengers, drivers, customers especially on the issue of safety, driving skills, incentives for drivers, accident reporting and basic app trouble shooting. I like the work environment as it reflects a very family-like working environment wherein in you may ask everyone and all are happy to help out. Hardest part is leaving the company behind since I need to migrate to England.
Free snacks, free shuttle during late hours, better working environment, free rides
Shifting until midnight and mornings plus 7 days a week operations.
Business Operations (Current Employee) – Cecil Street – July 30, 2017
Hiring growth is emphasized but mainly due to unrevealed turnover across all levels and all areas of the company. Salary and benefits are far below comparable companies with similar valuation levels. The only job advancement / development does not exist unless you believe job rotation is the only defining characteristic. Management does not provide any resource toward external training or career investment so you are on your own!
Grab has also evolved from start-up to a small corporation so expect more bureaucracy across all the areas of the business.
Grab also hires executives with personal connections across senior levels so transparent is also called into question as well.
Monthly Allowance Grab rides
Inconsistent executive talent and insider family run culture
Grabcar driver (Current Employee) – Mid View City – July 3, 2017
> must have a target to achieve every week > keep a healthy body and mind > improve on communication skills and driving skills > share experiences of road block, traffic jams due to accidents with other drivers on the road > work smart to balance life and family
Acquisition Specialist (Current Employee) – Sin Ming – February 11, 2017
Still loves working in current company as colleagues and superiors are nice. Not thinking of resigning anytime soon as I am already comfortable with the job and aiming to go up the ladder if given the chance to. As of now, the only setback is the salary as the commission that is being offered is not satisfactory enough hence the reason of why i am looking for a part-time job.
