Staff has no empowerment, everything is decided by CEO or top management. If your boss likes you, you may get promoted. Working hard and putting in a lot of effort does not mean your efforts are recognized. Your boss' personal feelings will deem if you get a promotion or not. Co-workers are good, some are nice. Eventually, the feeling of being unappreciated trumps the benefits that this place offers. Also, if your team is short on staff, expect HR to take their own sweet time acquiring a replacement.
