If it wasn't for EY, I would have not been good at my craft. We all know audit is already difficult, but as long as you have great teammates working alongside with you, you will survive audit.

Good place to learn
Manager (Current Employee) –  SingaporeOctober 9, 2017
My company is a place with many learning opportunities in the areas of technical expertise and soft skills.

The hardest part of the job is to deal with many different sets of management in the portfolio.

The most enjoyable part of the job is the interaction we get to have with colleagues of similar ages since the company practices batch intake.

Got to learn to manage time efficiently as time was scarce as many projects were to be completed in due time. Additional time were also required to be put in from each member in the assignment in order to complete task.

Assistant Manager (Current Employee) –  Raffles PlaceOctober 8, 2017
Stressful workplace, with a very friendly and warm culture. Working hours are not the best, but the grueling hours and heavy workload allows one to hone multi-tasking skills and also to garner more technical knowledge and expertise which will be useful in the workforce.

This is a regular accounting firm and providing various accounting services to clients over the world. The firm is big enough that you won't even get a chance to find the restroom without helps.

The third condition for high performance is of an organizational nature, formation of small units that make the performance of individual employees transparent. The company is enthusiastic decentralizers.

Auditor (Current Employee) –  Central Business DistrictAugust 2, 2017
Poor culture set by management of unrealistic deadlines and deliverables. The firm is perpetually understaffed due to the high attrition rates, which makes it worst for existing staff. Would generally say the firm is on a downward spiral.
