Senior Professional (Current Employee) – Singapore – August 3, 2017
Top-down & traditional managerial style - employees are encouraged on freedom of speech but there is no acceptance from management team at all in reality. Management does not appreciate employees' challenges and do not accept new ideas for change in fact businesses are all operated in a very fragmented and traditional way. It is a surprised on how traditional the management style is and ultimately Management rules - new ideas are never accepted here. if you are a candid and constantly prospecting change - this is not the place where you would be given a fair opp in this aspect (from my experience).
Good company to work with but depends on which Business
Assistant (Former Employee) – Singapore – July 4, 2017
It was a great experience to have been able to work for Cargill. The company promotes good working culture as well as work life balance. However this is very much depend on individual Business that one works for. Each business practices different set of working culture. Overall is a company with integrity and they believed in this strongly.
L&D Analyst under Learning & Development (Current Employee) – Raffles place – April 15, 2017
Nice new office at Raffles Place with pantries with fruits and drinks provided daily. Nice colleagues and flexibility in working hours make it possible for work life balance. Generally, if you are on leave, seldom there's a need to check your emails and answer phone calls. There's a change in management and hence a major restructuring gong on worldwide.
Fruits, drinks, friday's tidbits treat etc, flexi working hours for some

Things can be slow to move because of size, but you will be in the middle of the action because what Cargill does, matters! So use the opportunity to learn about your industry and function, in a few years competitors will want to poach you anyway!
Trade Execution Executive (Current Employee) – Raffles City – July 4, 2015
Cargill gave me that opportunity to explore my inner strengths and abilities. The strive to work along with the Guiding Principals helps maintain a good personal and professional balance. The team is very supportive and I enjoy my life at Cargill but after a few years I feel its time to explore something new and understand my best capabilities.
